'Living a Nightmare': Loved Ones of Missing Teenagers Desperately Seek Answers After Ski Resort Blaze
The loved ones of teenagers lost after a deadly fire at a venue in a Swiss winter destination are confronting an excruciating wait for answers and requesting any details about their family members via social media.
The blaze devastated the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the Swiss Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the early hours of January 1st. Circulated video show the roof structure being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are raised in celebration.
Authorities have stated that it could take an extended period to formally name the fatalities of the disaster, which claimed the lives of four dozen individuals and hurt another over a hundred. Authorities noted on the latest update that 113 of the injured have been accounted for, with efforts continuing to name the remaining few.
In the meantime, families and friends have been taking to the internet to appeal for information about their loved ones who were at the bar that night.
Appeals for the Missing
The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, sixteen, are currently unknown, according to an public plea from his family.
